Official release of WVD Special Issue of JIVA (Vol 18, Issue 1) by Dr. T.M. Thomas Isaac, Hon. Minister for Finance, Govt. of Kerala. Dr. K.K. Thomas, President, Dr. Muhammad Aslam M K, General Secretary, and Dr. D. Shine Kumar, Media Committee Chairman, IVA Kerala were present during the occasion. 

Release of April 2022 issue

The April issue of JIVA (2022) was released by Adv. G.R Anil, Hon. Minister for Food and Civil Supplies by handing over a copy to Dr. A Kowsigan, IAS, Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, Kerala.

Commemoration of World Zoonoses day and distribution of awards for best articles published in JIVA during 2021

IVA, Kerala commemorated world zoonoses day on 06/07/2022 with seminars on one health and emerging zoonotic threats at Ernakulam. Awards were distributed to the authors of three best research and clinical articles published in JIVA during 2021. Awards for research articles were received by Dr.Nisha A.R. (Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology, CVAS, Mannuthy), Dr. Krupa Rose Jose (Ph.D. Scholar, Department of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, CVAS, Mannuthy) and Dr. Suvaneeth P (Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, B.H.U., Mirzapur, U.P). The awards for best clinical articles were given to Dr. Sooryadas S (Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, CVAS, Pookode, Wayanad), Dr. Vipin Prakash J. S (M.V.Sc Scholar, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, CVAS, Pookode, Wayanad) and Dr. Anusree T. Awards were distributed by Prof. (Dr.) M.R Saseendranath, Hon. Vice Chancellor, KVASU. and Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal, Hon. Vice Chancellor, KUHS

Release of second issue of JIVA (2022)
The second issue of  the Journal Indian Veterinary Association, Kerala (JIVA: August -2022) was released by Hon. Minister for Revenue and Housing, Government of Kerala, Adv. K. Rajan at Thrissur. Dr. K Vijayakumar, Chief Editor and Dean CVAS Mannuthy, Dr. MK Pratheepkumar, President, IVA Kerala and Dr. Irshad A., General Secretary, IVA Kerala were present during the function. With immense pleasure, we would like to inform you that a new editorial board has been constituted for the Journal of Indian Veterinary Association (JIVA). Now the editorial board invites full length research papers, review articles, Case Reports and short communications from all fields of Veterinary and Animal Sciences for publication in the next issue of JIVA scheduled for release . The articles should reach the Editor on before 30th May 2020. The guidelines to the authors are available in the website.
